Measuring
guide.

Our furniture is shipped via premium White Glove Delivery. Our logistics partners are experts at placing your new pieces safely in your home, but we ask that you carefully measure your space prior to ordering. We cannot accept returns on items that are undeliverable due to spatial constraints.

1. Confirm Furniture Dimensions

Before planning the delivery route, make note of the overall Depth (D), Width (W), and Height (H) of the piece you are ordering. You can find these exact dimensions under the "Specifications" section on every product page.

Please Note: Large sectionals are often delivered in individual modular pieces. Be sure to reference the dimensions of the largest individual component.

2. Measure Your Space

Ensure that the dimensions of the piece fit comfortably in your chosen destination. We recommend using painter’s tape on the floor to outline the exact footprint of the furniture. This will help you visualize the flow of the room and ensure there is adequate walking space around the piece.

3. Measure the Delivery Path

Measure the Height (H) and Width (W) of all exterior and interior doorways, hallways, elevators, and stairways that your pieces will have to pass through.

  • Architectural Elements: Account for low-hanging light fixtures, handrails, molding, doorknobs, and radiators that could impede delivery.
  • Elevators: If your piece must pass through an elevator, ensure the opening width, interior height, and interior depth are adequate.
  • Staircases: Measure the width of the stairs and the height from the steps to the ceiling. Note any landings where the delivery team will need to make tight turns.

4. Evaluate Clearances

To guarantee a successful delivery, the overall width of your doorways and hallways must exceed the piece’s depth or height.

In the event that a doorway's clearance is less than the piece's width, the delivery team will need to bring it through vertically. If this is the case, the entryway's height must exceed the piece's width, and the piece's depth must easily clear the doorway's width.

5. What to Expect on Delivery Day

Before our delivery team arrives, please prepare your home by creating a clear path. Remove any existing furniture, rugs, artwork, or delicate items that may get in the way. Keep pets securely in another room.

During your scheduled delivery window, our White Glove representatives will carefully unpack, assemble (if required), and place your furniture in your desired room. All packing materials will be removed.

  • Our delivery personnel are not authorized to move your existing furniture.
  • If your building requires a Certificate of Insurance (COI), please request this from our team at least 72 hours prior to delivery.
  • Inspection: Once your piece is unpacked, thoroughly inspect it. In the unlikely event of transit damage, document the issue on the Proof of Delivery (BOL) form before signing, and contact us immediately.
