Our furniture is crafted from authentic, natural materials designed to age gracefully alongside you. To preserve the integrity, finish, and longevity of your investment, we recommend following these dedicated care guidelines.

1. Solid Wood Furniture

Wood is a living, breathing material that responds to its environment. As it ages, you may notice subtle shifts in color or slight expansion and contraction—this is the natural hallmark of solid hardwood.

Everyday Care

Dust regularly with a soft, dry, lint-free microfiber cloth. Wipe in the direction of the wood grain to avoid scratching.

Spills & Cleaning

Wipe up liquid spills immediately with a damp cloth, followed by a dry cloth. Never allow water to sit on the surface. Avoid using harsh chemical cleaners, abrasive sponges, or silicone-based polishes, as they can permanently damage the protective finish.

Protection

Always use coasters under glasses and felt pads under hot dishes or heavy décor. To prevent uneven fading and cracking, keep wood pieces out of direct, prolonged sunlight and away from direct heat sources like radiators or fireplaces.

2. Natural Stone & Marble

Stone brings organic elegance to any space, but it is inherently porous and susceptible to staining or etching if not treated with care.

Spills & Stains

Wipe spills immediately. Acidic liquids (such as citrus, wine, vinegar, and coffee) can etch the surface of marble and travertine within minutes. Blot the spill with a paper towel—do not wipe, as wiping spreads the liquid.

Cleaning

Clean surfaces using warm water and a few drops of a pH-neutral, non-abrasive soap. Dry thoroughly with a soft cloth. Never use bleach, ammonia, or acidic bathroom cleaners on natural stone.

3. Upholstery & Textiles

Whether draped in premium linen, bouclé, or performance fabric, upholstered pieces require regular maintenance to prevent dust buildup and fiber breakdown.

Routine Maintenance

Vacuum your upholstery weekly using a clean upholstery attachment. This prevents dust and dirt from settling into the fibers. Plump and rotate loose cushions regularly to ensure even wear and maintain their architectural shape.

Spot Cleaning

For minor spills, blot (do not rub) the area immediately with a clean, dry, absorbent cloth. If a stain persists, we highly recommend consulting a professional upholstery cleaning service rather than using over-the-counter stain removers, which can alter the fabric's color.

4. Leather

Premium leather develops a rich, distinguished patina over time. It is a highly durable material that requires minimal, but specific, intervention.

  • Dust regularly with a dry cloth or vacuum with a soft brush attachment.
  • Wipe spills immediately with a clean, damp cloth and let air dry. Do not use heat to dry leather.
  • Condition the leather every 6-12 months using a high-quality, specialized leather conditioner to prevent drying and cracking.
  • Keep leather furniture away from direct sunlight to prevent fading.

5. Metals & Hardware

Our brass, bronze, and blackened steel elements are designed to patina naturally, developing deeper character over the years.

Clean metal surfaces gently with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid the use of abrasive metal polishes, steel wool, or chemical cleaners, as these will strip the protective sealants and alter the intended finish.
